Pelican Cove Condominium Association, Inc. is a beautiful, 75-acre gated community along Little Sarasota Bay in Sarasota, Florida. Each of the six informal neighborhoods differs slightly architecturally and each of the 731 condominium homes has at least one outstanding view of water, woods, lawn expanse, flower garden or swimming pool. Job Description

GENERAL MANAGER – Immediate opening, seeking a CAM licensed professional experienced in all condominium statues, policies and procedures, facilities management and a proven track record assisting boards in the day-to-day operation of a large condominium association ensuring the community is operated and maintained in accordance with the wishes of the board, covenants and bylaws of the association. Applicants to be selected will have a 4-year degree in business management related fields or equivalent work experience and prior experience in community association management. He or she must be a talented, resourceful leader, with a record of achieving results with a sizeable staff and multi-million-dollar budgets, a proven ability setting priorities, managing time, and displaying superb customer service and problem-resolution skills and excellent interpersonal and verbal communication. Finalists must have experience in preparing budgets, a working knowledge of TOPS accounting software, Quickbooks, and excel, planning and management of large-scale building and landscape maintenance projects, negotiating with and overseeing contractors, and dealing with neighboring, municipal, and regulatory entities. Competitive compensation and benefits package in the $80,000 - $100,000 range.
